Personal Sonar System
- One of Last Chance's more practical items would be the P.S.S. Emitting a high frequency (out of Human hearing range)
- "ping" every second, then interpreting the signal's return the tiny computer is able to map out a small area. This sonar can be built into armor or worn as a gauntlet. As a gauntlet the emitter and receiver is built into a fingertip and the results are displayed upon a small wrist mounted display unit. It's usefulness lies in its ability to see around corners while under fire or in darkness (the display is either illuminated or fed through the armors HUD). It's only flaws are its ability to be fouled by snow, rain, or similar obstructions.
